Weekend Video Game Warrior #58

Here it is, another edition of the Weekend Video Game Warrior! Here's what we are all playing this weekend.

I'm really enjoying my time with Children of Morta, and plan to spend more time in that world this weekend. I'm delighted and bewildered how they can keep the story going even after you die in an unsuccessful dungeon run. Each time you come back to the home, there is a new piece of the story. It's fascinating how they can keep the story moving along, yet, you might not have unlocked another section of the dungeon. I'm interviewing the studio that created the game, and I'm looking forward to asking those questions. I need answers!

After finishing up the campaign for Battlefield 1, this weekend I honestly have no idea what I'm going to start next. Will probably grind a little more in Pokemon Sword, and potentially start something new. I'm leaning towards Mafia 3, but we'll see what happens.

Mike Ryan - Reviewer/Site Contributor/Host of The Controller Throwers Podcast

This weekend, I will dust off the old Playstation VR and play some Tetris Effect. I'll also play some more Resident Evil 2, as well as some Rocket League.

Another week, another 20 hours spent on The Witcher 3. This weekend will likely be more of the same as long as I can keep myself away from the more straightforward progression and bombastic fun of GTA Online which I just began dipping back into...this weekend will be an exercise in self-control and restraint.

Since I will be stuck in airports all weekend I plan to play a lot on my Game Boy Advance that I found at my parents’ house recently. I still have my old save for YuGiOh World Championship 2004! I’ll be playing this until the batteries die.

That's what we are all playing. What are you playing? Let us know in the comments below!
