The Weekend Video Game Warrior #184 | The Gamerheads Podcast

The weekend is here! Its time to sit back, relax, grab a snack and your favorite game to dive into! Whether it be tabletop, video, or arcade, there's a game for everyone! Let's take a peek into what the Gamerheads Crew has in store for their weekends. I see life-sims, extraction shooters, tabletop games and more in their future. Let's see what juicy details we can get!

Jake - Reviewer: I can’t stop playing Pokopia its literally all I want to play right now! So I will be continuing to play that. If I am able to let go I want to try the new Legends mode in Ghosts Of Yotei which is the multiplayer mode. Had a lot of fun with the first one.

Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: I'm continuing my playthrough in Minishoot' Adventures. If you like Zelda and twin stick shooters, this game is for you. It's super creative and the spaceship is adorable! I'm also playing Planet of Lana 2. The story and animation is spectacular.

On the table top side, I'm really into Pirate Borg. If you haven't done so, read our review of the starter set, core book, and the expansion!

Stay safe and game on everyone!

Trina - News Coordinator/Reviewer: So I may have bought Pokopia... Which means I'm definitely going to dive into that this weekend. Watching Jake and others play has really convinced me to buy it. I also will most likely play some Marathon. It's been really fun completing contracts with friends and exploring the maps. Bungie did a great job incorporating their lore and secrets and it's been fun discovering things. Happy gaming and stay warm to those of you in the winter storm's path!

Zeb - Reviewer: I'm obsessed with Marathon and don't see myself putting it down anytime soon. I don't know why or how because I'm not very good at the game but when I'm not playing Marathon all I'm doing is thinking about Marathon. It's been a long time since a game has caught my attention as much as this game has. Also with it becoming Steam Deck compatible I've started another Satisfactory run, this one I'll finish I swear. The game runs great and the team over at Coffee Stain have done an amazing job getting the game to work with a controller, something I didn't think possible when they announced the game was coming to console.

I don't know about you guys, but I think each of them have found a new obsession for the weekend! Has anything grabbed your attention? What games do you have on your list? Join in on the conversation on the Gamerheads Podcast BlueSky! And as always, from everyone on the Gamerheads' Crew, stay safe and game on, warriors!
