The Weekend Video Game Warrior #209 | The Gamerheads Podcast
It's the weekend and fall is my favorite season. The trees start to turn colors, Halloween is right around the corner, and it's cooler. Which is perfect weather to sit in the house and get cozy on the couch with my favorite games. Speaking of which, let's see what the crew is playing this weekend!
Special Guest Contributor: Jill Grodt - The Indie Informer: This weekend is going to be a dozy! The October harvest from just these last few weeks means I’ll be eating good for weeks at least. So, what’s on my filled-to-the-brim plate this weekend? Enshrouded, of course, despite already approaching two hundred hours. I just can’t put it down. Though, I need to make time for more Dressmaker because I have to share my creative genius with the ladies of Twillford. But I also have to keep in mind the recent big hitters, including Echo Weaver, Truckful, Valor Mortis, Over the Hill, Penguin Colony, and more before next week hits with even more must-plays!
Jake - Reviewer: This weekend I am diving into my new game Control Resonant. I was a huge fan of the first game and excited to see what weird enemies I get to fight in this one! There is also a new cool event in Warframe to get us ready for the next big update later this year!
Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: After reading Jill's article about Enshrouded, I decided to pick it up. It's really fun! I'm not terribly far in the game, I just unlocked the blacksmith, which gives me more options for armor. It's multiplayer too! Jill put two hundred hours into this game, so I know there's plenty to do in this game! Besides Enshrouded, I'm continuing with Castlevania Belmont's Curse. I'm not sure what to think about this game yet. I like the whip mechanic and the magic, but the game feels a bit clunky. I'm a huge Castlevania fan, so I'm always excited for more entries into the series, and I like Rose as a character. I'll keep playing and see if it starts to sink it's teeth into me (pun intended).
Zeb - Reviewer: This weekend I'll be jumping into Warframe for the operation. There are a lot of good items to pick up from the event vendor so I expect to play until I get all the goodies. Besides that I'll be starting up my second playthrough of The Witcher 3 now that the remaster version is out!
That's it for this weekend's edition of The Weekend Video Game Warrior! What are your plans for the weekend? Let us know on the Gamerheads Podcast Bluesky! From the heart of the Crew, stay safe and game on, warriors!
