It's the weekend! After what seems to have been a very long week, it's nice to be able to cozy up and play some games. Especially in this cold weather. This past week we saw the Xbox Developer Direct, which gave us news about Fable, amongst othe games. We also reviewed Speakeasy Simulator and the wonderful point-and-click adventure Perfect Tides: Station to Station. Let's see what the crew is playing this weekend!
Guest Contributor Jacob McCourt (Host: Crossplay Conversations and The Left Behind Game Club): I've finally gotten back around to playing The Last of Us Part II after being way too sad about the state of the world when it first came out peak pandemic to finish it. I got about ten hours into it on PS4 and never went back until now. Over that five year period, I have somehow managed to avoid getting spoiled on the structural thing that the game does about halfway through. The canine brutality is unnecessary but otherwise, the remaster on PS5 is very well constructed. Using January to play games out of my backlog before the deluge of new releases take up all my time.
Aman - Reviewer: This weekend I plan to continue my Final Fantasy adventures in shadow bringers as I eye the last half of the campaign there. Zeb has gotten me hooked on Cyberpunk so I’ll be playing that as well after my Final Fantasy adventures
Jake - Reviewer: This weekend I am staying warm on my Animal Crossing island as well as enjoying my time with Hyrule Warriors. I am also doing my chores in Warframe.
Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: Besides trying to stay warm, I'm going to be playing some more Animal Crossing. I started to decorate rooms for guests in the hotel, still got a lot of work to do! Plus I need to clean up my island. Other than that, I'm playing Streetdog BMX for review. Think Tony Hawk but with a bike. Stay tuned for a review soon!
Trina - News Coordinator/Reviewer: Time to bundle up while it's extremely cold out this weekend. I have plans to boot up some Warframe to work on getting my MR level up. I really want to try to get all the parts and materials for Uriel so I can craft him soon. I also saw that Ball X Pit's free update is coming on Monday so I'm probably going to work on finishing up the base game before that comes as well.
Stephanie - Reviewer: I don't know about you, but I'm planning on staying in this weekend to stay safe from the coming snowstorm in my area! I've been loving Blue Prince, and I'll be going back in to see what secrets I can uncover! I also plan on decorating my Animal Crossing island more. It'll be a nice to getaway on my own little island with my villagers! Stay safe, everyone!
