The Weekend Video Game Warrior #157 | The Gamerheads Podcast

ree

Welcome, warriors! Each week the Gamerheads Crew gives us a sneak peek into their gaming plans for the weekend. This weekend we're greeted with some returning Switch 2 favorites as well as MMOs and life sims. Let's party up and take a look at what they have in store for themselves!

Jake - Reviewer: This weekend is a long weekend for me so I am excited to get further into Bananza I think I am also close to the end. Other than that my partner is getting back into Palia so I was going to spend some time with them in game. I am also itching to start a new single player game and grabbed Death Stranding 1 so was going to give that a try as well.

Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: I'm reaching the end of Donkey Kong Bananza. However, I still have plenty of bananas to go back and find (in fact, I heard some are not obtainable until I finish the game or get close to finishing the game).

I'm also restarting Moonlighter, since the sequel is on the horizon. My goodness, I forgot how amazing this game is!

Besides that, I picked up Tales of the Shire after reading Stephanie's review (read the review here). I am not very far in the game, but I'm enjoying what I got to play so far.

The other game I'm going to plug is And Roger. It's a short game, maybe a little over an hour long, but it's such a powerful experience. You can read our review here.

Stephanie - Reviewer:  Hey warriors! I'm continuing my life as a Hobbit this weekend in Tales of the Shire this weekend! I've honestly been falling more in love with the game as I continue to play, especially now that I'm starting to unlock other areas of by hobbit hole. I'm also deep into Destiny 2 again. I've quite missed the game, and I've been enjoying getting back into it with my duo and friends! Stay safe and thank you for being here!

Zeb - Reviewer: Oh what a busy weekend of gaming I have planned. I'm starting to feel the groove in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, a souls like game with fun combat and some well designed bosses so far, even if they keep killing me. Keep an eye out for my review later next week! I also was lucky enough to be part of the playtest for StarRupture, a first person factory builder, much like Satisfactory except the sun explodes regularly and bugs will attack my base. It's been fun figuring out how to get my factories efficiently running. Then when I want to play with friends we have double affinity in Warframe! So I'll be leveling everything I can with friends. Hope everyone has a game filled weekend!

And that's all we got this weekend! What games do you have on your gaming queues this weekend! Let us know on our BlueSky! From all of the Gamerheads Crew have a safe and wonderful weekend, warriors! Game on!
