The Weekend Video Game Warrior #122 | The Gamerheads Podcast

Welcome back, weekend warriors! It's time to unwind, leave the stress of the week behind, and dive into your favorite games. Every week, the Gamerheads Crew shares a sneak peek at their gaming line-up for the weekend -- We're revisiting some retro favorites and adding in some new! So, grab your controller (or mouse and keyboard) and join us as we explore what’s on the Crew’s gaming agenda this weekend!

Jake - Reviewer: Happy weekend everyone! This weekend I am hoping to keep working through Dragon Age. I love my companions so much I just want to keep doing quests for them! ❤️ Also hoping to work on some planet crafter as well as playing some FFXIV with the new patch that came out! Finally not a game but hoping to watch some Arcane’s new season on Netflix.

Roger Reichardt - Co-Host/Reviewer: This weekend I plan to complete The Plucky Squire. Plus continue my quest in Mirthwood. When I'm not playing the game, I'm thinking about it!

I also have the worst game, "Clean the House". This game never ends and it's not fun.

Stephanie - Reviewer: After quite the busy Friday for me, the weekend is finally here! And that means diving into a new game! Sun Haven has been sitting in my library for a few weeks now, and I think its about time I give it some love! And like some of the rest of the Crew, Final Fantasy XIV is on my queue as well. With the new patch release, I'm itching to explore what new features its brought.

Trina - News Coordinator/Reviewer: I had some PC issues earlier this week, but now that they are fixed I am definitely eyeing up Final Fantasy XVI. I sadly had to restart my save, but now I'm hooked and want to experience more of the world. If it wasn't obvious by one of Jake's game of choice, I also will be playing planet crafter with him. We finally unlocked fish!!

Zeb - Reviewer: With 2024 wrapping up it's time to start on my backlog and finish up the games I started but got distracted shortly after. Beginning with the Silent Hill 2 remake. Besides catching up on my backlog, FF XIV put out their newest patch adding more content as well as Season 1 dropping in Call of Duty. It's going to be a busy weekend full of games!

And that wraps up this week's collection of weekend gaming! Did any of our choices match yours? Let us know! We want to hear what you've got in your queue! From all of the Gamerheads Crew: Have a great weekend, stay safe, and game on, warriors!
