Tennis League VR Smashes onto PICO and Meta Quest 3S with Cross-Play, New Free Edition, and Steam Version in Development | The Gamerheads Podcast

Developer AnotheReality and funding partner HIP are thrilled to announce that Tennis League VR (TLVR) is gearing up for its next major match, with a launch on PICO devices scheduled for November 12, 2024. In addition to the PICO debut, TLVR is preparing to rally even more fans with a Steam version currently in development, giving PC VR players a chance to step onto the virtual court. More details about the Steam release will be announced soon.


With Meta Quest 3S out there, Tennis League VR is also rolling out a powerful update for its Quest devices version, designed to boost multiplayer play and improve accessibility for new and returning players.



Supported Devices:Tennis League VR will be available on the following platforms:

  • PICO Devices: Pico Neo3, Pico 4, Pico 4 Pro, Pico 4 Ultra

  • Meta Quest Devices: Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest Pro, Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S


Acing New Features:

  • Game Localizations: TLVR will now be available in Simplified Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish (LATAM), and Italian, ensuring players from all over the world can enjoy the action in their native language.

  • Cross-Play Matches: For the first time, TLVR players across PICO and Quest devices will be able to face off on the same virtual courts. Whether you’re playing on PICO or Meta, you’ll be able to challenge friends and rivals in seamless cross-platform multiplayer.

  • Introducing Tennis League VR Free Edition: This version for Meta App Lab will include all of the latest control enhancements and non-content features from the full game, giving new players a taste of what’s in store — completely free.

  • Multiplayer Tournament Push:

    • TLVR Free Edition will unlock multiplayer matches during special events, giving free players a shot at competing online. These events will be served up via push notifications, social media, and on our Discord channel.

    • Our Discord community is also introducing an "LFG" (Looking For Group) role, where players can rally together to find sparring partners and schedule friendly matches.

  • Try Before You Buy: New players can take the full version of Tennis League VR for a spin with our “Try Before You Buy” feature, unlocking access to all game modes and multiplayer, so they can test their skills before committing.

  • Steam Version Inbound: TLVR is also heading to Steam, bringing the game to PC-based VR systems soon. Details on the Steam release will be announced at a later date, but tennis fans can expect even more ways to experience the thrill of virtual rallies and seamless cross-play across all editions.
