Treehouse Games, a studio dedicated to creating collaborative, memorable experiences with friends, invites players to explore a magical ocean world in its highly anticipated game Voyagers of Nera. The first demo for  Voyagers of Nera, now available for free on Steam, lets players sail across distant islands, engage in thrilling combat with mysterious creatures and awaken ancient spirits – all solo or with friends.

Founded by former Riot Games product lead Michael Chu and indie games veteran Ryan Sullivan, Treehouse Games is backed by a team of industry experts from AAA and indie backgrounds. With a vision to bring friends together through meaningful gameplay, the studio is focused on delivering unique, cooperative experiences for a global community of players who love to connect through games.

Following a year of dedicated development and feedback from alpha playtests, development blogs and live streams, Treehouse Games is thrilled to launch the first public multiplayer demo of Voyagers of Nera on Steam. Players will be able to sail, surf, and dive under the seas in the game’s first biome, The Embrace: a beautiful archipelago of islands formed around the fallen remains of a massive stone colossus. They will battle enemies on land and at sea, craft new gear and items, build deeply customizable bases, and awaken magical spirits to earn game-changing abilities. The demo is playable solo or with friends and consists of a minimum of 5 hours of engaging gameplay.

"We’re excited to finally share the first demo of Voyagers of Nera with survival crafting fans and co-op players. We’ve been pouring our hearts into the game, and every bit of feedback from our play testers has helped us shape Voyagers into a world you can get lost in. We can’t wait to see more players sail, dive, and surf across the world, and to hear their feedback before we hit Early Access next year.” - Michael Chu

In Voyagers of Nera, up to 10 players venture together across a vibrant ocean realm filled with beautiful islands, diverse biomes, and magical spirits. The game offers a unique spin on the survival crafting genre with sailing on magical ships, skimming on personal surfboards, and elemental spirit companions that enhance gameplay. Players can choose from animal companions of wind, water, fire, or earth, each granting unique abilities that empower players in combat or help explore, allowing for a more personalized and strategic gameplay experience.

Treehouse Games is already looking ahead, with plans for a more extensive demo at Steam Next Fest in February 2025 and an early access launch in Q2 2025.

As part of its debut, Voyagers of Nera showcased their new demo trailer at the OTK Games Show on December 4th.
