Per the Press Release:

SYDNEY, NSW — June 27, 2019 — War Tech Fighters, the sci-fi mech action game from publisher Blowfish Studios and developer Drakkar Dev, is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

It’s time for the Zatros Empire to pay for conquering Hebos and Ares. A squadron of rogue pilots adrift in space and led by Hebos’ greatest War Tech fighter, Captain Nathan Romanis, are out to reclaim their homes and overthrow their oppressors.

Engage in combat up close with giant swords, and from a distance using bullet, laser, and magnetic weapons. Fight through more than 30 missions packed with long-range combat, environmental puzzles, stealth sections, code hacking, and more. Earn upgrades, research new weapon trees, and defeat the Zatronian forces once and for all. Then tackle the war again, retaining all acquired upgrades on a harder difficulty in New Game Plus mode.

War Techs use three core body classes: the fast and light Hawk class, the balanced Lynx class, and the slow and heavy Rhino class. Customize the mech’s combat styles from there with more than 180 upgradeable systems and parts, including the console-exclusive Archangel War Tech special set with the Glory Sword, Redemption Halberd, and Faith Shield.

War Tech Fighters puts an emphasis on style as well; Thousands of paint and livery options are available so pilots look good while waging war. Additionally, War Techs can pull off execution moves on weakened enemies that feature cutaways showing the glory of their enemy’s demise.

“We were impressed when we saw the sword execution moves, and to this day, they never get old,” said Ben Lee, CEO, Blowfish Studios. “Whether you’re playing the game on the go or on a giant TV, you’re going to have a lot of fun taking on the Zatros Empire in War Tech Fighters.”

War Tech Fighters is out today for $19.99 USD / €17.99 / £15.99 / $24.99 AUD via the Nintendo Switch eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store. The Nintendo Switch release features English, French, Italian, and Spanish options with German and Russian support coming soon. All six languages are currently available for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
