With Christmas fast approaching, we are all preparing for what wondrous video games Santa will leave under our trees. There's nothing more exciting than adding another game to your backlog, and not playing it for six months! Here's what we're playing this weekend to get ready for the fat man's arrival:

With the extended holiday weekend, I'm planning to get more Dauntless in. Having gone through the somewhat lengthy tutorial, I'm now able to do more quests, as the game opens up after the tutorial.

This weekend I'll be continuing to battle my way through gyms and catching all the pokemon in Pokemon Sword. I'm enjoying my time with it more than I thought I would. Also, I'm trying to figure out what short single player game I can burn through by the end of the year just to have one more completed game on my list.

This weekend plan to keep leveling up my season pass in Rocket League, finish the remaining three gyms in Pokémon Shield, and, although I've said it countless times before, finally get into Resident Evil 2. And this time, I mean it.

After successfully finishing Disco Elysium, What The Golf, and Lonely Mountains Downhill earlier in the week, this weekend I'll be continuing my 2019 catch-up quest with some Sayonara Wild Hearts and Hypnospace Outlaw.
