Weekend Video Game Warrior #61

It's that time, here's another edition of the Weekend Video Game Warrior. Here's what we are playing!

Roger Reichardt - Reviewer/Site Contributor/Host of The Dialog Tree Podcast

I have a few games that I'm in the process of reviewing, which I can't talk about right now. I do plan to get some more Rune Factory 4 in, that game is fantastic!

Continuing my slog through Mafia 3 will be happening. When I'm bored of the mundane quests and side missions of the game, I'll flip back to Children of Morta. A game that grew on me with the more time I spent with it.

Mike Ryan - Reviewer/Site Contributor/Host of The Controller Throwers Podcast

This weekend, I will be playing some more Resident Evil 2. I really hope to finish Leon's story this time. And now that I'm finally done with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's World of Light, I want to start my next Switch venture. Ghostbusters? Astral Chain? Captain Toad? We'll see...

Christian Kobza - Site Contributor/Review Editor

I completed my journey through the Doom franchise earlier in the week by finishing Doom 3 and its 12 hours of DLC missions, and completing a second playthrough of Doom 2016. I figured I'd keep up on the catch up by playing through Resident Evil 3 which I just finished a couple days ago. I may officially be ready for Doom Eternal and the Resident Evil 3 remake, but I'm certainly not ready for Ori and the Will of the Wisps which is a mere week and a half away. I'll be spending this weekend finally playing through the first Ori and knocking it off my backlog for good.

My daughter and I are currently working through the Lake Kingdom in Mario Odyssey. With assist mode on she’s able to follow the blue arrows that lead to each objective and needs help with enemies and bosses. It’s been a great bonding experience and hopefully be a first of many gaming memories. Outside I will be batting other woodland creatures for territory in the tabletop game “Root” which is currently one of my favorites!

That's what we are playing. What are you playing? Let us know in the comments below!
